2017 Steve Duck Trophy
The Steve Duck Trophy this year was contested by 24 full and social members on Saturday 8th July, the weather was wonderful and the green was in perfect condition.
8 teams of triples were drawn at 10:00am and games got under way at 10:30
The teams were split into two leagues of four teams with each of the teams playing the other 3 in their group. The matches were played on a 3 wood basis over 10 ends with a limit of one shot scored on the first end.
The winners of each group came together in the final.
In the final Graham Russell, Chris Fawcett and Pip Chinn beat June Robinson, Ron Elliott and Gordon Middlemiss by 8 shots to 7.
