2019 Season summary
Saltburn Bowls Club - 2019 dates
The bowling green was opened again for members on Tuesday 9th April 2019, the weather was much improved on last year, thanks for those providing soup and members supporting the event as well those who helped with this year spring clean.
The green showed the results of the hard work put in by Tony and Derek over the 2018/19 winter period to ensure once again we had the best green available for the season.
The green is now closed for the Winter period and will reopen in Spring 2020, winter maintenance is ongoing with ditch improvements planned for this time.
The changes in the visitors changing areas, racking in the Saltburn storage area for members only to keep trolleys and bags etc that will not fit entirely into allocated lockers within the clubhouse has been highly successful, the clubhouse has been de-cluttered , the former Ladies changing room has now become for all visitors, there are no longer separate rooms for men and women.
